Two Giants to make game-changing announcements next week: HP and Nokia.

Hewlett-Packard, the world's largest IT company, and Nokia, the biggest phone manufacturer, are both expected to make game-changing announcements next week. HP will be first, with the announcement of its new WebOS-based tablets (and, perhaps, phones) on Wednesday February 9. The Nokia announcement is more speculative, because all we really know is that new boss Stephen Elop will be giving a speech to investors in London on Friday February 11.

We're on much firmer ground with HP's announcement, which is rumoured to include two PalmPad tablets code-named Opal (7-inch screen) and Topaz (10-inch), as leaked last month.

These will run WebOS 2.0 or later, from HP's $1.2 billion acquisition of Palm, and are expected to include wireless charging like the Palm Pre’s Touchstone dock. They should also include HP's Beats (aka Dr Dre) audio. Unlike Apple's current products, they will do real multitasking and support Adobe Flash, which will make them more competitive with RIM's PlayBook.

It is a tablet and a smartphone on the HP Palm Teaser video.

After watching a lot of times the HP palm webos teaser video uploaded early this morning Feb 2,2011 we captured and image that shows a tabelt when you even start to play the video.

You can go the official Palm site here palm US and before you start playing the video you can observe the above image, but when you play the video is showing the smartphone.

So we think the full promo ad will come with the tablet and the smartphone .

The tablet looks small maybe because it is in portrait mode and could be the Topaz ( Palm Pad or Touch Pad...) and the smartphone the Manta, maybe will come with a larger screen display with no physical keyboard.

HP/Palm webOS GYST= Get your stuff together, MYTE and VEER. What are they?

WorldWideTech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Now that everyone have known about  apparently some leaked codenames  for new HP/Palm webOS devices like “Topaz” for a tablet with maybe a undercovered name GYST= Get your stuff together, we have been making guesses about  this recently information and we also think that MYTE is just a T for a keyboard and VEER for your ear is a BT headset.

HP usually likes to make bundles with a main device including accessories as keyboard and BT headsets , and in someway it make sense if you want to play with your tablet on a portrait mode standed up in front of you , using a wireless keyboard and meanwhile you could receive calls with a BT headset on your ear, but if the tablet  would allow them.

Other codes names have been leaked too, like Mantaray, Stingray, Broadway, Mansion, Castle, and Windsor.

A HP /Palm  tablet possible launch was metioned before for March 2011.
