Vivick Will Unveil Full Line of Innovative Apple® Compatible Accessories and More at 2012 CES

Company Will Showcase Diverse Product Line.

Vivick, a company specializing in the production and distribution of stylish and highly-functional personal electronic accessories for cell phones, laptops and more, will introduce its diverse product line to the US at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, unveiling a full slate of innovative Apple® compatible accessories, as well as anti-theft backpacks.

Vivick designs, produces and markets a broad collection of appealing, attractive, creative and affordably-priced accessories for dozens of Apple® products, including the MacBook, iPad, iPod and iPhone, carry cases and travel kits. The company also manufactures laptop tools and enhancements, portable rechargers, headphones, earbuds, Bluetooth devices and more, with a product range spanning eight different CES categories from Audio Accessories and Portable Audio Players to Electronic Gaming, Connected Home and Lifestyle Electronics.

As iPhone cases are now a virtual necessity, due to the product’s fragile frame, Vivick has created an entire line of Apple-compatible cases that combine superior protection with a stylish, appealing design. Vivick’s Folka Dot Series, Jell-O Freak and Camouflage lines, to name just a few, are all highly appropriate for the office while brandishing the user’s personal style and flair. Cases are constructed of genuine leather with a built-in “kick stand” to ensure upright positioning. The product offers multiple colors and design options ranging from solid simple tones to reptile-skin patterns.

Vivick has also created groundbreaking protection for the iPad 2. Completely waterproof up to 10 feet deep, the Vivick Aqua Guard allows users to use their iPad while relaxing in the pool without fear of damage, even if it’s dropped into the deep end. The product’s triple-layer waterproof seal is designed to ensure that water never finds its way into the iPad, even under the most unusual of circumstances. The case also includes waterproof earphones and a transparent shield for easy screen views.

In addition to the Apple cases and Aqua Guard, Vivick will showcase dozens of other electronic accessory products, and their line of anti-theft backpacks.

Born of a near epidemic threat of backpack theft throughout China, rendering pedestrians fearful, Vivick has created a backpack line to battle the theft of personal items stolen from people’s backpacks without the slightest notice. Thieves are enjoying success by simply slicing into backpacks with a knife, a box cutter or a sharp pair of scissors. Within seconds, iPads, MP3 players, notebooks, even laptop computers change possession before the rightful owner is ever aware.

While the unsuspecting pedestrian is the ultimate victim, the primary culprits are backpacks created from flimsy materials, providing an inviting target for a swift, anonymous pilfer. And with the hectic pace of daily life mandating the need for constant technology, nobody travels without their laptops, cellphones or portable media players anymore. With this disturbing trend now practically a global phenomenon, people are understandably nervous and uneasy about storing their valuable and expensive electronics on their back.

Vivick has created a backpack in three different models designed to prevent such theft, and they will showcase their VI-SP002, VI-SP003 and VI-SP005 backpacks in Las Vegas.

Vivick views CES as its official U.S. launch party, and eagerly anticipates fulfilling its plans for a 2012 U.S. rollout through retail distribution and online sales. The company has invested years of R&D, and enjoyed initial success in Asian markets. “Vivick has been producing creative design for years, said Vivick President Andy Hu. “Now we feel that the time is right, and we are ready to unveil our dynamic and powerful product line in the U.S. Introducing our product line at CES makes sense, and is an important step in gaining a foothold.”

Vivick is new to the U.S. market, yet the company is anything but a fledgling entity. With design roots dating back to 1985 at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC, Canada – where they still maintain a major presence – Vivick has, over the years, forged design relationships with several industry icons including Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), the Academy Award-winning visual effects company. Fueled in part by that relationship, Vivick has evolved into one of Canada’s most professional industrial design brands.
