WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

TechRadar said that RIM is working on future BlackBerry smartphones using the QNX operating system which underpins its PlayBook tablet. While adoption of QNX in RIM’s smartphones is widely anticipated, it has not officially been announced by the company.

While the company would not be drawn on timings, Carlo Chiarello, VP of the GSM/UMTS business unit, told the publication that “it's going to come in to the higher tier value propositions first.”
