IFA2012: Samsung is releasing new All in One PCs.
Starting at $750.-, Samsung is releasing new All-In-One (AIO) PCs , in two different screen sizes, the Series 5 and Series 7 are both
powered by a third generation Intel Core Processor, with up to 8GB of
RAM, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and HD graphics and audio.
The Series
5, the more modest of the two, allows for 500GB of internal memory with a
21.5-inch screen.
Series 7 offers screens sizes of 23.6 or 27 inches,
both with a hard disk drive of up to 1TB. Both models come complete with
a wireless keyboard and mouse , no trackpad.
The integrated camera on both Series 5 and Series 7 will recognize
user’s finger movement, allowing for a natural gesture technology so you
can swipe between pages or rotate your wrist to change the volume, all
without getting your fingerprints all over the screen.
“The expansion of our AIO line speaks to the success we’ve had in the PC
market over the past year,” said Todd Bouman, vice president of product
marketing at Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division.
“Both of these new models take
Samsung’s convergence technologies to the next level, completing the home
computing experience by connecting the PC to other devices in the home
environment.”
Series 7 start at $1,100 and goes up to $1,700. Both Series 5 and Series 7
are slated to debut alongside Microsoft`s event in October 26.
