Finally, the mystery is unveiled. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is now called Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, instead.
As we said before, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will sport a 7.7-inch primary display and a 6.23-inch cover display which is both bigger than that of its predecessor. It also implemented changes to a few materials such as using foldable glass as a cover window in order to improve the phone’s durability.
The store price of Samsung Electronics’ next foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G in South Korea is temporarily set at $1,990 (2.398 million KRW) which is the same as that of its predecessor. However, unlike its predecessor, Samsung Electronics wireless earphone Galaxy Buds Plus will not be included as a basic component when a person purchases the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.
Samsung will hold an Unpacked 2020 event on August 5 from South Korea live, to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, the Galaxy Note 20, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Watch 3, and the Galaxy Tab S7.
