Summary: HP Palm webOS tablets features.

WorldWideTech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

First of all, the 9-inch HP Palm Topaz tablet is scheduled to be released in March, while the 7-inch HP Palm Opal tablet is scheduled to be released in September. (rumors)

Now let´s take a summary tour of what features could come with the webOS tablets, according to all the posts made by several sources like precentral.net  and engadget this last week.

1.    1.-HP's Beats audio processing will aim to deliver premium audio.

2.   2.- A Touchstone-style dock is said to provide wireless charging. And meanwhile the device is charging it can work as an  Alarm clock, or digital photo frame or GPS.

3.    3.-The WebOS tablets will be providing tens of gigabytes of cloud storage. You're supposed to store apps, apps states, and documents in the cloud. The idea is that you should be able to access data where you left it regardless of whether you use your WebOS phone or WebOS tablet.

4.    4.-The WebOS experience will offer closely integrated Amazon services, including unbox movies, music store and Kindle. "Music -- access to your entire music library from WiFi or 3G data connections."

5.    5.-NFC functionality to be part of the new WebOS experience. A NFC "Tap-to-Share" feature will let WebOS users easily transfer a Website, document or song from the phone to the tablet (or vice versa) simply by tapping the two devices together.

6.   6.-  "Phone-to-Tablet communication -- if your smartphone rings it can be answered on the tablet or phone".

7.   7.-Touch oriented e-reading companion.

8.   8.- Longer battery life than your notebook PC.

“FUN, MOBILE PRODUCTIVITY.
Entertainment on the go: leading music, video, gaming content/applications + premium audio.
Fits into your busy life and workflow: it is not  an island or a toy, it´s the perfect complement to your smartphone and notebook PC, a better web media and productivity experience than your phone; a better touch-oriented e-reading companion with longer battery life than your notebook PC.”

WebOS phones should have everything in their power to deliver an amazing experience, with your webOS tablet.  Don´t you think ?

HP may be rolling out the name "HP Touchpad" for these tablets.

However according to HP there are more unveiled features to come in Feb 9, as the message on the  image below is making us to “Think Again”.
