Samsung will unveil Galaxy Tab 4 and Galaxy Gear 2 alongside its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, at the upcoming Mobile World Congress
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, which will either come in Wi-Fi-only, 3G and LTE variants. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 will feature an 8-inch LCD display (1280×800) along with quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB or 1.5GB (LTE only) of RAM, 3 megapixel and 1.3 megapixel cameras, 16GB of internal storage, microSD slot supporting up to 64GB and a 6800mAh battery. The only question we have is Why this Tab 4 8.0 will have a 3mxpls camera instead a 5mpxls the tab 3 8.0 has???
Next up is the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 that will come in Wi-Fi and 3G variants. The 7-inch tablet will be very similar the 8-inch sibling but will sport a smaller 8GB internal storage and 4450mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 to have Wi-Fi, 3G and LTE variants. Along with a large screen size, the tablet will be powered by the same 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD slot and higher resolution cameras (8 megapixel and 3 megapixel).
All the tablets will run Android 4.4 KitKat.
In addition to the Galaxy Tab 4 series, the manufacturer is also looking to launch the next-generation smartwatch, which will be called the Galaxy Gear 2. According to local industry sources, the Gear 2 will feature an entirely redesigned look and will likely come with a flexible screen. It will also be available at a more reasonable price and will have added functionality.
Samsung is looking to focus on all three categories at the MWC 2014 : smartphones (the Galaxy S5, along with a few mid-tier devices), tablets and wearable devices.
